You have more inside of YOU

Each and every one of us is born with an enormous amount of potential. You were born with gifts, talents and abilities on the inside of you. I say as the late Maya Angelou said

 

Every time you see me, I come as one but I stand as 10,000. I stand on the shoulders of my mother, grandmother and her mother I stand on the shoulders of every Neighbor that sacrificed for me, every friend that supported me every teacher that sowed into me and every human being that prayed for me loved me, lifted me and left a legacy for me. I stand on their shoulders.

 

I’ve worked with amazing women who have suffered in the 20, 30 and 40 years of their lives. Who were abused at 7, raped at 12, beat and left for dead at 14, pregnant at 16 and victims of domestic violence at 18. They were broke and broken. But somebody said, broken crayons can still color. You are not defined by what happened to you. You are defined by what is on the inside of you!

Inside of you are the values and principles of hard work, humility, self-reliance and respect for ALL people, kindness, empathy, faith and love knowing that what is on the inside of you is worth fighting for.
